The Alekseevsky palace (of the Great prince (knyaz) Aleksey Aleksandrovich) is situated quite far away, on the embankment of the Moyka river, after the arch of New Holland. For many years it was being suffered and destroyed, till 2009, when, having sent away bad renters and restored it, "the House of Music" was opened there. What a tremendous four-floor round hip tower on the one of the fronts. It is the best to look at that from the square situated on Pisareva Street in those seasons when trees shed their leaves. It is just a real French castle!
Address: the embankment of the Moyka river 122a.
How to reach: ride to Teatralnaya square and go along the embankment of the Moyka river on foot.

— Ольга, я там был. Там проводятся экскурсии - посмотрите на их сайте "Дом Музыки". Откровенно говоря - разочаровался. Ожидал гораздо бОльшего. По сравнению, например, с домами Кельха или Половцева - просто бедненько. Хотя все после сильной реставрации и чувствуется "новодел".
