Annually in the end of August – beginning of September the citizens and guests of St. Petersburg have a chance to enjoy the exhibition of real tropical butterflies in Ecology-Biological centre “Krestovskii Ostrov”. It’s like you are in a small rainforest, where butterflies fly around, feed on flowers, land on visitors’ clothes and you can take them carefully in hands. Last year first time at the exhibition you could see the biggest butterfly in the world – Atlas moth. As butterflies do not live for long every week you may see something new and unusual. I recommend it to all.

Address: 19, Krestovskii prospect.

How to reach: Krestovskii Ostrov metro station. The park in front of the station, first go straight forward, then turn right according to the signs.
