There are wonderful reliefs of the three girls on the house built in 1905-1906 by the architect B. Girshovich specially for P. Berezin’s printing office. The compositions with the girls’ statues are different – some of them are holding the books, some the scrolls, but all of them certainly symbolize the thirst for knowledge. For some years there were the editors offices of many city newspapers. Nowadays, after the “renovation” there’s the only phasade wall left – from inside everything has been removed and rebuilt (there’s another business centre here now).
