This is the only monument to Nabokov in Saint Petersburg; it was installed in April, the 27th for the writer’s 30th death anniversary.
It’s made of metal tubes and looks like an organ. The writer is depicted sitting lonely in front of the chessboard. The sculptor called his work “Lonely King”.
 

Address: 11, Universitetskaya Embankment.

How to reach: bus № 7, trolley bus № 1 from metro station “Sportivnaya”, “Vasileostrovskaya”, “Griboedova channelNevsky Prospect”, the monument is in the yard of Saint Petersburg State University, phiylological facultydepartment.
