The Soviet epoch passes away from the life and remembrance, but somewhere its "highly explosive" monuments still hulk up as artefacts. Normal Chizhik-pizhiks, Gavryushas are sawn off and driven away in the unknown direction, but these are blown by dynamite. Here, the monument to heroes of Krasnodon has still been remained to be unexploded in the Ekateringofsky Park (former "named after thirty years of VLKSM"). It is very strange to see it now, it is a kind of further from us and more unclear than the bronze noblemen of the Petrine time. Surely, it is still not exactly informal, as yet...

There the five young guards are represented: Oleg Koshevoy, Ulyana Gromova, Ivan Zemnuhov, Lyubov' Shevtsova, Sergey Tyulenin. They all are the heroes of the underground organization of Krasnodon and were shot by the Gestapo.

Интересно то, что на знамени видны рельефом портреты Ленина-Сталина. Немного изображений последнего сохранилось в нашем городе..
