The cast iron anchor and granite slab with the inscription “Our Park, our city, our country” were installed in 2004 to commemorate the struggle of citizens against infill construction.

Citizens also defended these parks from building new houses on their territory: Andrey Petrov’s garden (30, Kamennoostrovsky prospect) and “Vladimir Putin’s garden” (area next to the houses №151 and №152 in Primorsky prospect).
