Insects could be different ... This one all year round could be seen in our city at the entrance of the former classical school of K. I. May. This bas-relief is a reference mark of the classical school. It is said that its students proudly wore the bug-sign on their school uniform. There so many famous people graduated from this school! D. S. Likhachev alone would be enough, but the list is, of course, much longer.
Now the St. Petersburg Institute of Informatics and Automation of RAS is situated here. There is a memorial museum dedicated to the history of the school here. Also it is said that something is saved from the time of foundation.
Address: 39, 14th line of Vasilievsky Island.
How to reach: from Vasileostrovskaya metro station on foot till the 14th line.
