In the yard among tightly closed doors there is the one that is wide opened open and even without code lock. You get in (you just can’t help it!), go upstairs and see the locks, but do not give up – go till the end of the stairs. Having overcome the last span you will find the opened doors with the padlocks hanging on the unlocked shackles.
And now you are on the roof – a homey roof painted warm brown with steep slopes.
The roof is in a small courtyard, thus the sounds of everyday life can be heard from the opened windows of nearby houses: casserole ringing, voices of unseen and unknown people, the noise of TV set working somewhere…
A cozy roof but the sleep slops steep slopes do not permit to walk freely – an old tin combined with sharp slopes and frail handrails are treacherous!
Anyway it is a splendid place to bask under the sun and to listen to the city voice – that’s what one needs to feel happy ?
And if I lived here I would have come here on sunny days to have tea (with homey bakery for sure).
